I think merchant is the first class you should play. Becuase you should have merchant for OC, DC and Vending. But I will tell you. It’s not easy to leveling for merchant.

Merchant Stat Guide

1. Agi-Str-Dex. This build is easy to play and save your cost. You can put Vit on high leveling. I recommend this build to everyone who plays for fun.
Lv.20 : Str 9 Vit 9 Agi 22 Dex 20
Lv.30 : Str 9 Vit 9 Agi 39 Dex 20
Lv.40 : Str 11 Vit 9 Agi 48 Dex 30
Lv.50 : Str 20 Vit 9 Agi 61 Dex 30
2. Vit-Str-Dex. This build for WoE. But You need too much cost for play this build. This build can’t dodge monster and Aspd too low.
Lv.20 : Str 9 Vit 9 Agi 22 Dex 20
Lv.30 : Str 9 Vit 9 Agi 39 Dex 20
Lv.40 : Str 20 Vit 20 Agi 40 Dex 27
Lv.50 : Str 30 Vit 35 Agi 40 Dex 30
3. Dex-Luk. This is called “Forger” build. I do not recommend to leveling by yourself. It’s very hard to play. Can’t dodge monster. Low atk. Use leeching service, please.

Merchant Skill Guide

Go to Overchange first. This skill makes you can sell an item to NPC at a high price. Than Discount can reduce item price from NPC. If you want to be shopper merchant. Do not put skill point on Mammonite skill.

Novice Level 1 – 12

You should enter Novice Training Ground for Novice Red Potions, Equipment and got some zeny. It’s use 20-30 min only but It’s will help you a lot.

Merchant Level 13 – 30

After to merchant. Go to Prontera and do Prontera Culvert Entrance quest. Prontera Culvert is a very good place for leveling and farming. You do not need any equipment just Novice Cutter from Traning Ground is enough. All monster in F2 is small size. Dagger weapon can atk 100% with small size.

Note : Hunt everything in Prontera Culvert F2. But do not sell anything until You have Overchange Lv 10.

You should buy a new weapon when you can use. You can buy at weapon shop on bottom-right of Morroc.
Slettio require Lv.12
Damacus require Lv.24

Note : When Job level 15 or higher. You can learn Crazy Uproar skill. This skill gives Str+4 for 5 minutes.

Merchant Level 30 – 40

We have many places for leveling on this level.
Wolf on Payon field.
Coco, Caramel on Geffen field.
Poison Spore on Geffen Dungeon.
Muka, Hode on Morroc field. Recommend

I recommend Muka on Morroc filed. Muka has low hp but high Exp. They are weak with fire element. Item from Muka can sell to Alchemist.

Note : You can use Snake Head Hat when level 30. Snake Head Hat give you can use Double Attack Lv.5 (25% chance to make 200% damage). It’s the best head gear for battle blacksmith(Class2 of merchant). You can use Snake Head Hat until you reach level 99. Snake Head Hat can buy in cash shop.

Note : You can use Two-Handed Axe when level 30. But You should know about the relationship between weapon type and monster size.

Two-Handed Axe type can attack monster size small 50% medium 75% large 100%.
Dagger type can attack monster small 100% medium 75% large 50%.

Merchant Level 40 – 50

Sandman and Orc Villege are good place for leveling. There have good loot and good Exp.
Sandman on morroc field.
Orc Lady and Orc Warrior on Orc Villege

Note : You should buy Pantie & Undershirt. It gives Agi+5 and Flee+15.

Note : When Job level 35 or higher. You can learn Cart Revolution skill. This is only one AOE skill of merchant.

Merchant Level 50 – 60 (Job 50)

If you have Snake Head Hat. You will leveling easily. For this part. Two-Handed Axe is better choice.
Zenorc on Orc Dun.
Argiope on Prontera Field.
Myst Case on Toy Factory.

I think Toy Factory is a good place. Becuase Myst Case drop OBB, Piece of Cake, Pearl and Myst Case Card is expensive. Cruiser is a secondary monster for hunt. Cruiser Card is 1 of Archer Set Card.

Fast Lane Leveling

Leaf Cat on Ayothaya Field (ayo_fild02)
Leaf Cat has high Job exp (1212 Job Exp). And drop good loot like Fig Leaf(269z) or Huge Leaf(305z). It’s sound good but beware Wootan Fighter.
Ayothaya Dungeon Entrance Quest

High Orc on Orc Village.
If you have a lot of money. Try to leveling High Orc. Spam Mennonite quickly as you can. You max Hp should above 1000. High Orc has high Exp and high Job Exp. Use Water Two-Handed Axe or Two-Handed Axe with water endow. Because High Orc is large size and weak with water element.
