Mage is the best magic attacker in RO. You can kill some monster in 1 magic. And this class does not need many equipments just staff is enough. We have many places to kill free and magic damage never miss. They can change to Wizard and Sage.

Mage Stat Guide

1. Int-Dex-Vit. This is old school build. It’s easy to play just cast bolt and wait. This build prepare to be Wizard or Bolter Sage. It’s very fast leveling with this build.

2. Vit-Dex-Int. This build for WoE. You need total Vit 100 for immue stun. And dex can reduce cast time.

3. Agi-Int. This stat make for Sage Autospell build. Agi for Aspd and flee. Int for Matk. This build very is fun when Soul Linker come.

Novice Level 1 – 12

You should enter Novice Training Ground for Novice Red Potions 800 ea, Equipment and got some zeny. It’s use 20-30 min only but It’s will help you a lot.

Mage Level 13 – 30

Mage have 4 element magic. Fire Bolt, Cold Bolt, Lighting Bolt, Soul Strike. Leveling places is depend on your skill build.

Fire Bolt
After you change to mage. You should leveling around Geffen until you have firebolt. Then go hunting Rocker near Prontera Town. Fire Bolt build is very easy to play. I recommend firebolt for everyone.

When you have Fire Bolt 5+. Go to Mandragora map(Right 1 Top 1 from Prontera). You can free kill. Mandragora is immobility. You can stay here until level 30. Or go upper 1 map for hunt Flora.

Cold Bolt
You can leveling with knife until you have cold bolt. And go to leveling with Pecopeco at moc_fild13. You should use “Hit&Run” style. Cast coldbolt and run away faster as you can.

Lighting Bolt
You can leveling with Ambernite at gef_fild09. It’s walk very slow. Then go to Byalan.

Mage Level 30 – 40

Fire Bolt

You can leveling with Wolf under Payon town. It’s good loot. And They drop Mantle[1]. Or you can go to morroc and leveling with Muka under Morroc town.

I recommend Muka on Morroc filed. Muka has low hp but high Exp. They are weak with fire element. Item from Muka can sell to Alchemist. You can kill they in Fire Bolt Lv4-5. And kill Hode with Fire Bolt Lv. 10 If you can.

Note : You should buy Arc Wand. It increases MAtk. Your damage will increase a lot. Arc Wand can buy at Geffen.

Cold Bolt
You can leveling with Elder Willow on pay_fild08 or prt_fild10. Cold Bolt Lv.3-5 is enough to kill it.

Lighting Bolt
Byalan is your home now. Kill everything in your screen. Byalan 2 have many good card like Thara frog, Kukre, Vadon. You can stay here and make money.

Mage Level 40 – 60 (Job 50)

Fire Bolt

You can leveling with Geoghapher on Juno field. It’s give too much Exp and Job Exp. You can reach Job 50 in 2-3 hours. But beware Demon Pungus and Harpy.

Or you need hide from people. You can leveling with Beetle King in Umbala. If you lucky. You will get gruard[1].

If you have Fire Wall. You can go to leveling with Alarm, Clock, String.

Cold Bolt

You can leveling with Greatest General on pay_fild10. But beware Horong.

Lighting Bolt + Frost Driver

You can use old school combo(Frost Driver + Lighting Bolt). You can leveling with Argiope. But beware Argos and Mantis.

Fast Lane Leveling

Leaf Cat on Ayothaya Field (ayo_fild02)
Leaf Cat has high Job exp (1212 Job Exp). And drop good loot like Fig Leaf(269z) or Huge Leaf(305z). It’s sound good but beware Wootan Fighter. You can kill Leaf Cat by using Fire Bolt 10.
